On Wednesday afternoon, the young Blues welcomed Alfreton Town U19s to Grange Park for a local National League U19 Alliance Division F derby. Riley Phillips opened the scoring after only 20 minutes with a sublime driven strike, cutting in from the right and firing the ball into the top left corner with his left foot.
Sachin Matharu doubled the young Blues' lead midway through the first half with a thumping header from close range, however, it was Phillips once again that rounded off a comfortable win with a well-placed strike on the stroke of half-time.
